  Breve storia di questo gruppo

La band - inizialmente chiamata "Drama" - venne formata a Chesham, UK, nel 1994 ca. da due francesi emigrati in Inghilterra: Pat Sanders (tastiere) e Manu Sibona (basso; poi sostituito allo strumento da John Jowitt). Dopo uno iato di ben 14 anni (dal 1999 al 2013), il gruppo è stato rifondato nel 2014.

Una delle caratteristiche è che, agli esordi, il cantante era un americano: Rafe Pomeroy prima, Chris Martini subito dopo di lui. Per l'ultimo, grandioso album, Sanders ha optato per un vocalist di origine greca: Jargon (nome d'arte di John Kosmidis), attivo soprattutto nel proprio progetto Verbal Delirium.

Trent'anni di attività e sette album in studio per i Drifting Sun, ensemble prog semplicemente superbo!
